THE STORY

Julie & Grace GmbH is a vertically integrated producer of fashionable, handmade jewellery. Since it was founded in 2008, Julie & Grace has specialized in eCommerce and sells exclusively on online marketplaces. The company’s sales and administration take place in their main location of Hamburg, Germany, while the development and production of the jewellery takes place in their factory in Bali, Indonesia.
With the goal of becoming the fastest jewellery company in the world, Julie & Grace is the perfect partner to be guided on the path to success in digital retail by us. Thanks to our collaboration that has been ongoing since 2013, Julie & Grace jewelry is currently sold online in over 30 countries.

THE TRIGGER

Since beginning their partnership with Tradebyte in 2013, Julie &Grace’s GMV has grown by 2974%, which is almost 30 times their initial size.  Pretty awesome, right? The huge success of our partnership is down to our fantastic collaboration and our unified commitment to dare to think big through onboarding the brand to new channels. We always strive to understand the brand’s needs and translate them into actions.

THE Strategy

True to their vision of being the fastest jewelry company in the world, Julie & Grace initially focused on expanding into all relevant marketplaces, especially in Europe. We advised them to start with the expansion in similar markets from the DACH region first. With Zalando, they were able to greatly expand their target group.
