We prioritise mobility concepts and strive to offer our talent as much flexibility as possible. We provide a hybrid working model within Germany, plus the option to work from abroad for up to 30 days per year. However, we would love to meet you in the office at least once to four times per month.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
1. Marketplace Acquisition:
Marketplace Targeting: In alignment with Brand Success and New Business teams, you identify marketplaces that are in demand with our brand pool and define a strategic approach for how to target and convert them to our marketplace network.
Business Casing: You build solid business cases based on brand connection and GMV potential that are used in prioritizing the resources required for onboarding the new marketplace in alignment with the strategic growth manifest from short to mid-term ROI
Negotiation: You lead commercial negotiations with marketplaces and define the contractual and commercial terms.
2. Land & Expand:
Growth Planning: Defining mutual growth plan for the first year after go live together with the new marketplace including agreed upon targets (GMV, Net Connections, Marketplace interest creation, Leads generated via Marketplace (Brand New Business) as well as tracking against it.
Systematic Brand Acquisition: Develop and refine targeted brand hunting lists based on comprehensive data analysis and collaborative insights with marketplace partners. Proactively identify high-potential brands that align with the marketplace proposition and support Brand Success Managers and Sales Managers in acquiring them through a hands-on approach.
3. Marketplace Promotion & Engagement:
Campaign Development & Execution: Conceptualize and execute campaigns to promote our marketplaces to brands. Utilize a variety of channels, including our Customer Engagement Program, Webinars, LinkedIn, Events, Newsletters, and other relevant platforms.
Sales & Success Enablement: Empower Brand Success Managers & Sales Managers by providing compelling sales arguments, pitch decks, and supporting materials for effectively presenting brands to marketplaces.
4. Forecasting & Reporting:
You accurately forecast on your opportunity pipeline and update the CRM to enable accurate commercial & resource planning.
Facilitate Brand Introductions: Introduce high-potential brands to relevant marketplaces. Streamline communication, pitch the brand in a compelling way and facilitate speedy decision-making.

You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Development, Marketplace Management, or Strategic Partnerships. You have a proven track record of identifying market opportunities and establishing sustainable, high-value commercial relationships.
You are an expert in Strategic Business Casing and ROI analysis. You approach growth with a data-driven mindset, building cases based on GMV potential and brand alignment to ensure resources are allocated toward the highest impact initiatives.
You are a collaborative negotiator focused on mutual growth. You are experienced in navigating complex commercial terms and co-creating long-term roadmaps that include clear KPIs, lead generation, and systematic brand integration.
You excel at Ecosystem Engagement and Sales Enablement. You have a talent for conceptualizing multi-channel campaigns and creating the resources—such as pitch decks and messaging—needed to help cross-functional teams communicate value effectively.
You are a disciplined professional with a commitment to operational excellence. You provide accurate forecasting, ensuring that all internal stakeholders have the visibility required for successful resource planning.
Experience in the US market is a strong plus. Familiarity with the US marketplace landscape and the commercial nuances of scaling brands within that region will help you hit the ground running.
