WHY CAN I NOT SEE MY SALES PRICES?
If your sales prices are not appearing properly in the system, it is typically due to a fixable configuration issue. This guide provides a step-by-step process to identify and resolve the most common causes.
1. Is the article being exported to the channel at all?
A price update cannot be sent if it belongs to an article that is blocked from export because of other errors.
- Go to “Articles > Article error hub”.
- Filter for the affected channel.
- Search for the article’s number or EAN.
- Any errors that are shown in the list may prevent the article from being exported. Solve these errors. The price data will be sent when all other errors are solved.
- If no errors are found, verify that the article is correctly activated for the channel.
2. Does the article have available stock and a valid price?
Confirm that the article is part of the sales price list and that its price is correct.
- Go to the Price catalogue (“Articles > Price catalogue”).
- Select your sales price list.
- Switch to the “Price lists | Articles” tab.
- Find the article and check the price columns. Ensure the values for Retail price (RP), Former RP, and/or MSRP are correct for that article.
Which of these specific price fields (RP, Former RP, MSRP) are required depends on the channel. For more information, please check the respective channel sheet (row “X-14: Cross prices”).
If the price is missing or incorrect here, the issue is with the data assigned to the article itself. You can correct this manually, via bulk editing, or through a data import.
3. Have you created and correctly configured a dedicated sales price list?
Ensure your sales prices are in a separate “sales price list” rather than overwriting the standard prices in the channel’s default list. A misconfigured list is a frequent cause of issues.
Check your price list’s configuration:
- Open the Price catalogue (“Articles > Price catalogue”).
- Find and click on your sales price list (for example, “Cyber Week Sale”).
- On the “Price lists | Settings” tab, review the following:
- Active Checkbox: The price list must be activated to be used.
- Sales Checkbox: For any sales or non-default price list, the “Sales” checkbox must be selected. Only one price list per channel (that channel’s “default price list”) should not have this box checked.
- Validity Period: The current date and time must fall between the “from” and “to” dates. Prices will not be exported before the validity period begins:
4. Have you checked the channel’s own error feedback?
A price list must be assigned to a channel and given the proper priority to take effect.
- Go to the channel’s price catalogue configuration (“Channels > [Your channel] > Price catalogue”).
- In the “More price lists” section, confirm that your sales price list is assigned to this channel.
- Check the Priority. TB.One transmits the prices with the highest priority rating (“Priority 1” being the highest possible priority). Your sales price list must have a higher priority (a lower number) than your standard price list. If another valid price has an even higher priority, those prices will be used instead.
5. Are you using the correct price fields for the channel’s discount logic?
The channels calculate and display discounts differently. You must provide the price data in the format the specific channel expects.
- Check the channel sheet (row “X-14: Cross prices”) to understand how your channel forms discount prices.
- Some channels, like Zalando, show a “was-price” by comparing the RP to the former RP.
- Other channels may compare the RP to the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) to display a discount.
Example: If a channel requires a Former RP to display a discount and you have only provided a reduced RP, the sales price may not appear correctly. Check the relevant channel sheets for detailed instructions.
6. Have you checked the channel’s feedback for rejected prices?
If all configurations within TB.One are correct, the price may have been exported successfully but was then rejected by the channel.
- For problems with Zalando, please check zDirect.
- Some channels provide feedback in TB.One under “Channels > [Your channel] > Article status”. This menu is not available for every channel.
- Review recent reports for any price-related rejections.
