WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You have 7+ years of track record in software engineering with PHP
You have practical experience with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS
You bring a strong ability to lead, inspire, engage and coach a diverse team
With your excellent communication skills and empathy, you ensure your projects are well managed and you have a good relationship with your stakeholders
You have experience in SaaS in a B2B context and understand the e-commerce business with its technology landscape
You are fluent in written and spoken English and enjoy working with people from different cultures and nationalities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work hands-on with your team developing our PHP application into a modern AWS cloud native, service based architecture
You lead up to 10 engineers in an agile team who deliver work on our main application
With technical experts and architects, you build a roadmap in compliance with company standards
You drive timely and predictable delivery of projects and initiatives within your team
You ensure the reliability and quality of the team’s software systems
You guarantee incidents are being responded to and the team learns from them to continuously improve
You establish and maintain sustainable teamwork with the teams Product Manager and Agile Practitioner as well as collaboration with business- and technical stakeholders
You bring company strategies and business needs into engineering to ensure outcome-focused work is done
