Case Study – JOY sportswear scales new heights

joy_blog_236x96JOY sportswear GmbH, based in Ottensoos near Nuremberg, has been selling sports- and casual wear for almost four decades. In 1977 Claus-Dieter Grapentin and Norbert Pfletschinger decided to import comfortable sweatwear in order to sell it in Germany. Matching the then popular fitness-movement, the name JOY was coined – the joy of sports. JOY sportswear stands for quality-manufacturing, perfect fits, and offers special sizes as well.

JOY sportswear’s most important sales-branch, next to wholesaling, is online-sales. This branch was completely overhauled to match the increasing demand for quick and coherent product- and order management in the e-commerce sector. With Shopware and TB.One both, a new shop system and a centralized PIM-System, were simultaneously introduced. The following Case Study details the project’s implementation in its entirety, and makes apparent the decisive amount of added value which online retailers can garner from automated, uniform data processing.

Additional information about the project is available in the TB.Consult Case Study.
